We love getting to know our patients and thought it only fair that you should get to know us a little better so this month we would like you to meet Dr. Yu-Hawke Lam.
Dr. Yu Hawke-Lam joined the Dr. Smile team in late 2016 and has been in the dental profession for 5 years.
He graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelors of Dentistry.
Dr. Lam is an academic as well as a creative at heart, he has a passion for costume + prop design as well as a keen mind for board games, video games and escape rooms!
Dr. Lam is a passionate dentist who always wanted a career aimed at helping people. He was inspired by the dentist he had growing up “He was kind, professional and very knowledgeable whilst helping the people that he treated. It left a strong enough impression on me to want to pursue the same line of work.”
We asked Dr. Lam what his core beliefs are with being a Dentist: “Each patient is anindividual with specific needs and treatment and I believe in providing the highest level, appropriate care catered for each and every one. Dentistry does not need to be scary, I willaim to prove that.”
Dr. Lam has a beautiful wife who has supported him since the start of his dental career and avery cute 1-year-old cat both of which brighten each day for him
